Members

Donna Rickenbacker

 Mrs. Rickenbacker provides a hands-on approach to development, 

including site selection, securing local and community support, entitlements and zoning, securing development financing, design approvals, and due diligence. She has been involved in 29 awarded LIHTC transactions in Texas since 2006. Donna also leads affiliated firms specializing in full service consulting and development for affordable rental housing throughout Texas. Prior to DWR Development Ms. Rickenbacker worked for The Hanover Company, a National developer of multi-family residential properties headquartered in Houston. She worked with the development partners and construction team leaders on multiple aspects of the acquisition, development and disposition of properties in nationwide. She also was a member of Coats Rose Law Firm’s Affordable Housing Department. Ms. Rickenbacker is a licensed real estate agent, a former member of the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Bellaire, TX and graduate of Trinity University in San Antonio, TX.

Jamie Rickenbacker

   James is primarily responsible for the financial modeling of each transaction, financing team coordination, financial feasibility analysis, sourcing of debt and equity, budget preparation and all financial closing and post-closing coordination with the financial partners. Mr. Rickenbacker started his career in investment portfolio management working in the trust investment departments of two national banks in Louisiana, and as Investment Manager of the Houston Fireman’s Relief Retirement Fund, a defined benefit pension fund covering the City of Houston Firemen. Mr. Rickenbacker is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), a member of the Houston Society of Financial Analysts, a Lieutenant Colonel (retired) in the U.S. Army, and a graduate of Tulane University in New Orleans, LA.  

Zachary Krochtengel

 Zachary works on both the finance and development sides of the transaction and touches on site selection, due diligence and financial analysis. Mr. Krochtengel previously employed by an affordable housing developer in Texas and joined MREC in 2017. Prior to affordable housing Mr. Krochtengel worked as a Senior Analyst for a real estate financial intermediary in Dallas and was a Senior Associate at Ernst and Young. Zachary has obtained a Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University, a Juris Doctor from Villanova University and a Masters in Finance from The University of Edinburgh in Scotland.
